W4GEA, Young Women for Grassroots Engagement Actions

Results of the project

The W4GEA project aims at improving the social and labour market integration of young women with low basic skills by improving youth workers’ capacity to engage them in grassroots projects for the sustainable development of local communities. Young women living in post-conflict countries or in countries facing profound social transformation become real changemakers in their communities and countries, by experiencing the setting up of a grassroots project and gaining skills to further develop it.

W4GEA is based on three training courses for Youth Workers (YW Mobility) that takes place in Iraq, Colombia, India, on the topics of digital skills & cultural heritage, entrepreneurial skills & social innovation, peacebuilding & participatory democracy.
